The Chivers family has been growing fruit in Histon and Impington for over 200 years. For many years Chivers was involved in both soft fruit and top fruit, the majority of which was utilised by the jam factory. However, the company now concentrates on intensive soft fruit production at Fieldstead Farm, Impington, supplying high quality strawberries and raspberries to the major multiples. We also supply to local wholesalers, restaurants, Cambridge colleges and, during the summer months, operate a small farm shop.
